APPL Containers Limited is one of India's first ISO shipping container manufacturers, established in 2021 in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, under the Make in India initiative. Inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi, APPL produces 15,000+ containers annually — including 20ft, 40ft, High Cube, BESS, and Cement Tank containers — and exports globally.
Established in 2021, APPL Containers Limited formerly known as “APPL Containers Private Limited†was founded with a vision to become the most valuable and reliable shipping container provider for the global multimodal logistics industry.
Following the Government of India’s announcement to develop Bhavnagar as a Container Manufacturing Hub under the MAKE IN INDIA initiative, APPL embarked on container prototype production in 2021. This ambitious project aligns with the vision of Aatma-Nirbhar Bharat, aimed at making India self-reliant in container manufacturing.
The foundation stone for the APPL container manufacturing facility was laid by Honourable Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers of India, in October 2021. Subsequently, in September 2022, Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi officially inaugurated the plant, marking a significant milestone for India's manufacturing sector under the MAKE IN INDIA mission.
Today, APPL Containers Limited (Formerly Known As APPL Containers Private Limited) boasts an impressive production capacity of 15,000 containers annually and proudly serving international markets, contributing to India’s growing prominence in the global shipping and logistics industry.
